Samsung has launched the Galaxy Watch9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra2 in the Philippines, adding health, fitness, sleep, and outdoor activity tracking features to its smartwatch lineup.

Both devices use Samsung Health and the company’s BioActive Sensor to collect health data and turn it into easier-to-understand information. The Sleep Apnea feature looks for possible breathing interruptions during sleep, while Vitals builds a personal health baseline and flags major changes.

Other tools include Heart Health Score for cardiovascular health, Daily Cardio Load for training and recovery, and Fitness Index for overall fitness. A Hearing feature alerts users when surrounding noise may reach unsafe levels.

The Galaxy Watch9 is intended for everyday health tracking. It comes in 40mm and 44mm sizes, with 390mAh and 445mAh batteries, respectively. Its display can reach up to 3,000 nits, making information easier to read outdoors.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra2 is built for demanding outdoor activities. Its Trail Run mode monitors elevation, climbing progress, and how terrain affects performance. Nutrition Alert estimates sweat loss based on body weight to guide hydration during exercise.

For water activities, the Galaxy Watch Ultra2 carries 10ATM, IP69K, and EN13319 certifications. It can automatically record diving information, including depth, duration, and water temperature. The watch has an 800mAh battery, a display reaching 5,000 nits, and a shock-resistant titanium casing.

Both models run on the Snapdragon Wear Elite platform.

The Galaxy Watch9 starts at ₱22,990 for the 40mm version and ₱24,990 for the 44mm model. LTE versions start at ₱25,990. The 47mm Galaxy Watch Ultra2 starts at ₱44,990.

Both smartwatches are available through Samsung Authorized Stores, Samsung.com/ph, and participating online retailers. Samsung is offering savings of up to 15% and zero-interest installment plans through participating banks.
