As Home Credit Philippines (Home Credit) kicked off its 10th anniversary this year, it sets a target of servicing 10 million customers this year. Currently, it has served 9.4 million customers.
In the past few months, the consumer finance company has forged partnerships with different companies and extended its services across the country.
“More than delivering innovative and accessible financial services, we celebrate the relationships we have built with our stakeholders and customers over the past decade,” said David Minol, CEO, Home Credit Philippines.

Home Credit is present in 75 provinces with 15,000 partner stores.
Aside from product loans (mostly household items and gadgets), the company also started offering loans to customers with good credit standing. To date, the consumer finance company has disbursed P1.8 million in cash loans wherein 90% of contracts were signed and 20% of the applications were done through its mobile app (My Home Credit App).
The company has processed loans on more than 10.5 million mobile phones since it started its operations here. Customers can also avail themselves of accidental damage protection for gadgets and furniture (Device Protection), home belongings protection (Home Content), and unlimited telemedicine service, death, and accident coverage (Personal Payment Protection), among others.
Financial literacy
Home credit has been going around the Philippines to give talks on financial literacy as part of its financial inclusion efforts. Its Wais sa Home program has so far reached 20 million Filipinos.
