The Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF) and global smart devices brand Honor have announced a major partnership for the Esports World Cup (EWC), taking place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The Honor 200 Pro will serve as the official smartphone for the EWC, utilizing its advanced technology to support esports competitions in popular mobile games such as “Free Fire,” “Honor of Kings,” and the Women’s “ML:BB” tournament.
Designed for mobile gaming enthusiasts, the Honor 200 Pro boasts a suite of features that cater to both professional esports athletes and casual players.
This partnership aims to engage gamers worldwide, strengthen brand identities, and foster a community driven by competitive spirit.
The Esports World Cup which is ongoing until Aug. 25, 2024, turned Riyadh into a hub of esports fandom and gaming culture. Located in Boulevard City, fans can watch their favorite athletes and clubs compete across 22 game championships, vying for a share of more than $60 million in prize money — the largest prize pool in esports history. Over the course of eight weeks, the event will also feature festival activities including gaming activations, community tournaments, pop culture celebrations, and international experiences.
