Mobile device brand Honor has begun rolling out its latest OS update, introducing a range of new (artificial intelligence) AI-driven features, including the much-anticipated Honor AI Eraser. The update is available for users of the Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro devices.
“We are proud to bring this technology to our users, enhancing their experience with our AI innovations,” Stephen Cheng, VP of Honor Philippines, said in a media advisory.
The much-anticipated feature, the AI Eraser Tool, uses generative AI (GenAI) technology to remove unwanted objects from photos. This allows users to eliminate distractions like photobombers from their pictures.
Other features in the update include:
- AI Optimize Eyes Close, which enhances group photos by correcting facial distortions and blinks, ensuring everyone looks their best.
- The Face-to-Face Translation feature enables live audio translations into multiple languages, adding a new level of convenience.
- AI Magic Capsule, which consolidates alerts and notifications, and AI Air Gesture, allowing users to navigate their phones without touch.
Additional tools such as AI Locate and AI Shopping enhance ease of use by integrating with popular apps like Google Maps, Lazada, and Shopee.
