Technology company Huawei has unveiled its latest tech products, including the Huawei Watch GT 5 Series and the MatePad Pro 12.2”, set to launch in the Philippines. The products were introduced at the Huawei Innovative Product Launch on Sept. 19 in Barcelona.
The Huawei Watch GT 5 Series offers four variants, including 46mm and 41mm models, as well as the Pro versions. The Pro models are crafted with aerospace-grade titanium alloy and ceramic, combining durability and elegance. The watches come equipped with fitness tracking features, such as AI-powered running and trail running coaching, a diving mode, and an upgraded golf mode with 15,000 global courses and 3D course effects.
Health tracking is also a focus, with the Huawei TruSense System providing precise monitoring of heart health, sleep patterns, and emotional well-being. The watches are water-resistant up to 40 meters and include an Emotional Wellbeing Assistant that tracks the user’s mood.
Huawei also introduced the Watch Ultimate, designed for users who prefer tailored features for golfing and outdoor activities. It includes advanced golf analytics and an enhanced Expedition Mode, making it a versatile companion both on and off the course.
MatePad Pro
The Huawei MatePad Pro 12.2” brings more than PC-level performance to users with its dual OLED display. Designed for creative professionals, it includes advanced display technologies and pairs with the new Huawei Glide Keyboard for added functionality. The tablet is equipped with productivity apps and the GoPaint App, which supports ultra-large canvases for digital art creation.
Huawei will begin pre-orders on Sept. 26, with early bird offers available until Oct. 3 across major e-commerce platforms and Huawei stores.
