Technology company Huawei unveiled the Huawei Mate X7, its latest foldable device designed for durability, productivity, and advanced photography.
The Mate X7 features 360-degree protection with aerospace-grade materials across the inner and outer screens, hinge, and middle frame, making it resistant to bending, impact, drops, scratches, dust, and hot water. It carries IP59 and IP58 water and dust resistance, allowing it to withstand temperatures of up to 80°C and fresh water depths of up to 2 meters.
Huawei said the Mate X7 is the first foldable in its class to match flagship smartphones in photography. The device includes a 50MP Ultra Lighting HDR Camera with 17.5 EV dynamic range, a 50MP Telephoto Macro Camera, and a True-to-Colour Camera system for accurate color reproduction.
The phone unfolds to reveal an 8-inch display, supporting Live Multitask for running up to three apps simultaneously. Users can access Google apps, while Huawei AppGallery provides local and international apps, including GCash, BPI, BDO, Facebook, YouTube, and Angkas.
Powering the device is a 5600mAh battery with 66W wired and 50W wireless Huawei SuperCharge.
