Huawei revealed its latest devices at a launch event held in Bangkok on July 22. The event, called “Fashion Next,” introduced the Huawei Pura 80 Series smartphones and the updated Huawei MatePad 11.5-inch (2025) tablet.

The launch took place at One Bangkok Forum and gathered media, fans, and industry guests. A highlight of the event was the Huawei Pura 80 Ultra, which features a new camera system with a switchable dual telephoto lens and a large sensor. Huawei says this setup helps users take clear and colorful photos, even in low light or from a distance.

The Pura 80 Ultra also includes Night Zoom and Ultra Lighting HDR, which are designed to help the camera perform well in different lighting conditions. Another key feature is its ability to zoom in and out smoothly using two levels of optical zoom, with the same image quality across each level.

The Huawei Pura 80 Pro shares the same large sensor and includes special cameras that can capture fine textures and bright, accurate colors. Both models are also built with tough Kunlun Glass, which improves resistance to drops and scratches.

Huawei added several new AI tools, including gesture controls, smart messaging features, and an upcoming photo-editing option called AI Remove. This will let users erase people or objects from photos with one tap.

The company also launched the Huawei MatePad 11.5-inch (2025), a tablet that offers a laptop-like experience. It comes with a PaperMatte Display, a magnetic keyboard, and full support for office apps. Huawei says it is aimed at students and young professionals who need to work or study while on the move.
