Huawei has opened pre-orders for the Huawei Mate XT, its latest foldable smartphone, from February 28 to March 31. The device is priced at ₱199,999 and comes with a pre-order bundle worth ₱39,998, including a Huawei FreeClip and a one-time-use, one-year accidental screen damage protection service.
The Huawei Mate XT is considered to be the world’s first tri-fold smartphone. The device can fold inward and outward, making it more versatile than previous foldable models. Its slim profile measures 3.6mm when unfolded, while its durable hinge system ensures smooth transitions between different screen modes.
The Huawei Mate XT offers three display modes: Single Screen, Dual Screen, and Triple Screen. In Single Screen mode, it functions as a 6.4-inch smartphone for basic tasks. Dual Screen mode expands the display to 7.9 inches, ideal for multitasking. When fully unfolded, Triple Screen mode provides a 10.2-inch display, allowing users to work on documents or watch videos with a larger screen.
Huawei designed the Mate XT with durability in mind, using ultra-thin glass, aerospace-grade fiber, and high-strength steel to withstand frequent folding. The hinge system features precision-engineered components to ensure smooth and stable operation.
The device also features a 3K Huawei X-True Display with a 16:11 aspect ratio and a 92% screen-to-body ratio, delivering clear visuals and vibrant colors. The Ultra Chroma Camera enhances photography with accurate color reproduction.
Pre-orders are available on Shopee, Lazada, TikTok, the Huawei Online Store, and Huawei Experience Stores. Customers will also receive additional after-sales services, including one year of Huawei Care screen protection and a free two-time screen protector replacement.
