Huawei MatePad 12 X (2026) is a tablet designed to function like a lightweight workstation for people who split their time between work, study, and creative tasks. The device works with the Smart Magnetic Keyboard, the Huawei M-Pencil Pro, and the Huawei Mouse to form a portable setup that can handle documents, graphics, and multitasking.
The Huawei MatePad 12 X (2026) features a slim 5.9 mm frame and weighs 555 g. It runs PC-level WPS Office 3.0, which supports documents, spreadsheets, and presentations. With Multi-Window, users can open multiple apps and files at the same time, drag and drop items, and switch between tasks. The keyboard, mouse, and pen can be used together to mirror a laptop workflow in a smaller device.
The tablet uses Huawei’s 12-inch 3rd Gen Ultra-Clear PaperMatte Display, which aims to reduce glare and eye strain. The upgraded screen applies nanoscale anti-glare etching that reduces light distortion and environmental interference. Huawei says the display helps lessen visual fatigue compared to earlier versions. It received certifications for low blue light, anti-reflection, and flicker-free performance.
The MatePad 12 X (2026) also debuts the Huawei M-Pencil Pro. The stylus has a hexagonal shape designed for better grip. It includes a tail button that launches note-taking and drawing apps. With 16,384 pressure levels and low latency, the pen is built for writing, sketching, and marking documents.
Huawei Notes adds new brush options meant for creative work, classroom use, and meeting notes. Its AI handwriting enhancement tool converts handwritten text into cleaner digital notes, while Note Replay allows users to record audio and sync it with their writing. Features like split screen, cross-page dragging, and templates help users organize files and work across multiple references.
GoPaint and Wondershare Filmora expand the device’s creative tools. GoPaint simulates oil painting textures for digital artwork, while Filmora supports basic video edits such as trimming, captions, and simple animations. Through the Super Device ecosystem, users can continue tasks across compatible Huawei devices.
A 10,100 mAh battery powers the tablet. It supports 66W SuperCharge and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity for faster network performance. The device comes in Greenery and White with a pearlescent coating that resists sweat and fingerprints. Huawei positions the MatePad 12 X (2026) as a practical option for people who want a single device for both productivity and entertainment.
The Huawei MatePad 12 X (2026) is priced at ₱37,999.
