Huawei nova Y73, Watch 5, and FreeBuds 6 now available in PH

Huawei has released three new devices in the Philippines, the nova Y73 smartphone, Watch 5, and FreeBuds 6, now available in stores and online platforms nationwide.

The new lineup combines smart features with practical design and performance for users with active digital lifestyles. The Huawei nova Y73 is priced at ₱9,999 and comes with a free Huawei Band worth ₱2,399. The Huawei Watch 5 starts at ₱22,999, while the Huawei FreeBuds 6 sells for ₱7,499.

Huawei nova Y73

The Huawei nova Y73 is built for heavy everyday use, featuring a 6,620mAh Super Battery paired with 40W Huawei SuperCharge Turbo. A 10-minute charge gives users up to five hours of video playback. The phone is equipped with AI Battery Saving technology and can operate in harsh temperatures as low as -20°C.

The nova Y73 includes the Huawei X-Button for instant access to apps or tasks, a Smart Remote feature using infrared technology, and 256GB of internal storage. The phone also has a 6.67-inch Eye Comfort Display with SGS Low Visual Fatigue A+ Certification and a 90Hz refresh rate.

With its 5-star SGS drop-resistance rating and IP64 dust and water protection, the nova Y73 is designed for durability. It features the Double Orbit Star Ring design and a Dynamic Plaid Texture, available in Blue and Black.

Huawei Watch 5

The Huawei Watch 5 introduces the Huawei X-Tap, a 3-in-1 sensor that enables advanced gesture control and health tracking. With a long press, users can access Health Glance, which provides a report of 11 health indicators such as heart rate variability, SpO2, and emotional well-being in just 60 seconds.

The smartWatch also supports fingertip-based blood oxygen monitoring, which uses a fingertip sensor for more accurate readings. A dual-battery system allows up to 7 days of use in Standard Mode and up to 11 days in Ultra-long Battery Life Mode.

The Huawei Watch 5 also supports third-party apps via Bluetooth, including Strava, and features GCash QR payments through Watch Pay. With its built-in NFC, the watch can also function as a smart key for supported access points.

Design-wise, the Watch 5 is available in 46mm and 42mm sizes. The 46mm version has an aerospace-grade titanium case, while the 42mm version uses 904L stainless steel. Both models come with ultra-tough sapphire glass and high-resolution AMOLED displays with 3,000 nits peak brightness.

Huawei FreeBuds 6

The Huawei FreeBuds 6 are open-fit earbuds with an 11mm dual-magnetic driver and Bass Turbo 2.0, designed to enhance bass and overall sound clarity. The earbuds are Huawei’s first open-fit model to support high-resolution, lossless audio up to 2.3Mbps, using 48kHz/24-bit L2HC 4.0 codec technology.

Its internal design uses a Separated Triple System Architecture to improve sound quality and efficiency. A new VPU bone conduction microphone, paired with an AI noise cancellation algorithm, ensures clear calls even in noisy environments up to 95dB or in strong wind conditions up to 8m/s.

The FreeBuds 6 also promises a stable connection, maintaining audio quality over distances of up to 158m for music and 150m for calls in open outdoor spaces.

Available in Purple, White, and Black, the FreeBuds 6 feature a compact, ergonomic design with a full-curved silhouette. Multiple ear-tip sizes are included to ensure a snug fit.
