inDrive, a ride-hailing platform operating in over 48 countries, has partnered with independent fuel provider SeaOil Philippines to offer added support for Filipino drivers. The tie-up was officially announced during inDrive’s Top Driver Appreciation Event held recently in Quezon City.
“Together, we’re building a system where drivers aren’t just seen as service providers, but as partners who deserve meaningful recognition and support,” said Vanessa Taqueban, Driver Operations lead, Philippines at inDrive.
This partnership will lead inDrive’s new Driver Loyalty Program, a long-term plan that offers practical benefits to its partner drivers. These include fuel discounts, priority cards, reward incentives, and other perks at SeaOil stations across the country.
“Fuel is one of the largest daily operational costs for drivers. By helping ease this burden, we’re enabling them to focus on delivering better service and sustaining their livelihood,” said Glenne Therese Tiu, specialist, Brand Partnership-Corporate & Consumer Marketing at SeaOil.
Program includes driver perks
Aside from fuel discounts, the Driver Loyalty Program offers added benefits, such as:
- Exclusive deals on vehicle maintenance, accessories, and health essentials
- Recognition of top-performing drivers every quarter
- Community-building events to gather feedback
- Access to learning tools and digital resources for drivers
inDrive considers the Philippines one of its key growth areas in Southeast Asia. The partnership with SeaOil is the first of several planned local collaborations aimed at strengthening support for drivers and highlighting inDrive’s people-first model.
Recognizing driver efforts
As part of the event, inDrive also recognized its Top Platinum Driver for the first quarter of 2025, celebrating strong performance in service quality, customer satisfaction, and ride volume. Drivers at the event shared personal stories about how the platform and its incentives have helped improve their income and work experience.
“At the end of the day, mobility isn’t just about getting from point A to B, it’s about improving the lives of the people making that journey possible,” said Mark Tolley, director for APAC at inDrive.
