Home Credit Philippines (HCPH) expects iPhone sales to hit P10 billion this year, marking a 66% increase from the P6 billion reported in 2023. For two years running, the iPhone has remained the top mobile device sold by the company.

According to HCPH’s latest report, the increase comes from the high demand for Apple’s latest iPhone models and the company’s history of strong sales. Since 2013, when Home Credit first started offering financing for iPhones, sales have grown steadily, with a 250% year-on-year increase.

“Filipinos are always searching for high-quality, durable smartphones that can meet their everyday needs, from managing daily tasks to providing entertainment after a long day,” said Puneet Suneja, chief sales officer of HCPH. “Apple has consistently delivered on this through its ever-evolving iPhone models, making it a trusted choice for Filipino consumers.”

HCPH’s data shows that since 2021, iPhone sales have skyrocketed, rising from over 21,000 units to nearly 150,000 units in 2023. The iPhone 11 remains the best-selling model, with 186,000 units financed, contributing P5.8 billion in sales.

Suneja emphasized that financing options make owning an iPhone more accessible, with plans that start at P50-P60 per day.

“Our sales figures reflect the strong demand for iPhones in the Philippines, and the progression of the mass segment’s aspirations,” he said.

To further support customers, HCPH offers 0% interest deals and flexible payment plans, allowing Filipinos to finance their iPhones without added financial pressure.

“We are committed to offering innovative financing solutions that make iPhones available to everyone,” Suneja added.
