According to Kaspersky, a cybersecurity solutions company, there have been 515 million phishing attempts thwarted globally. The company underscored the importance of having a reliable security solution to mitigate such attacks.

Kaspersky Premium for Windows has proven its effectiveness by achieving the highest result in the 2024 Anti-Phishing Test conducted by AV-Comparatives. Kaspersky received an “Approved” certification for detecting 93% of phishing URLs, the highest among all 15 participants. This achievement reinforces Kaspersky’s commitment to safeguarding users’ crucial personal data and ensuring a secure digital experience.

“We are proud to consistently achieve notable results in the Anti-Phishing Test, highlighting our ability to protect users against the ever-evolving landscape of phishing threats,” said Alexander Liskin, head of Threat Research at Kaspersky.

Phishing remains a prevalent and popular type of cyber attack. Kaspersky’s Anti-Phishing system alone blocked 515 million phishing attempts in the first half of 2024. By comparison, Kaspersky’s “Spam and Phishing 2023” report indicated that 709 million attempts were detected throughout 2023.
