Lalamove Philippines, an on-demand and ride-hailing platform, is giving customers a new way to support disaster relief by allowing them to convert reward points into donations for two humanitarian organizations while expanding its logistics support for communities in need.

Through its “Moves that Bring You Home” corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative, the on-demand delivery platform partnered with Save the Children Philippines and Tzu Chi Foundation Philippines to help deliver food, medicines, donated goods, and other essential supplies to affected communities across the country.

“We believe our responsibility extends beyond logistics. Through our partnership with Save the Children Philippines and Tzu Chi Foundation Philippines, we’ll be able to deliver meaningful support to vulnerable communities and help create lasting social impact,” said Djon Nacario, managing director of Lalamove Philippines. “With this campaign, we also get to utilize our rewards program to allow our users to directly donate to vulnerable communities.”

Lalamove said many nonprofit organizations struggle to transport donated items because of delivery costs and the challenge of moving bulky goods. By providing logistics services, Lalamove aims to help charities move supplies faster during emergencies and community projects.

Customers can also contribute through the Lalamove Rewards program. Registered members may donate their accumulated LalaPoints to either partner organization. Every 450 LalaPoints is equivalent to a P20 donation, while 950 points equals P50.

“This partnership reflects what’s possible when purpose meets action. Together, we can create real impact in children’s lives,” said Riel Andaluz, Partnerships and Philanthropy Lead, Save the Children Philippines.

Tzu Chi Foundation Philippines said donations from LalaPoints will support recovery efforts for communities in Mindanao affected by the recent magnitude 7.8 earthquake. The organization also said it has long relied on Lalamove to transport medicines, rice, and other relief supplies because of the platform’s reliable delivery service.
