Lenovo has announced that the ThinkSmart Core Gen 2, an AI-enhanced compute device designed for video conferencing, will soon be available in the Philippines.
Powered by the Intel Core Ultra processor with an integrated neural processing unit (NPU), the ThinkSmart Core Gen 2 is designed to handle AI-driven workloads. It offers features that enhance collaboration, improve productivity, and simplify IT management.
The ThinkSmart Core Gen 2 is compatible with Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms, using AI to enhance meetings with smart framing, auto voice detection, name tags, and real-time assistance. It also includes intelligent analytics to provide feedback on meeting efficiency and team interactions.
For IT managers, the device is expected to simplify workflows by automating system maintenance, monitoring security, and managing room configurations remotely. The device is also designed for continuous operation in different environments, with a fanless enclosure and a wide operating temperature range.
To ensure smooth deployment, Lenovo offers professional support services. The device comes with ThinkSmart Manager software, a three-year Lenovo warranty with Premier Support, and a one-year ThinkSmart Manager Premium license. Security features are strengthened through the Lenovo ThinkShield system, adding extra protection for enterprise users.
The ThinkSmart Core Gen 2 will be available as a standalone unit or as part of the Full Room Kit, which includes the ThinkSmart Bar 180 for improved audio quality. With flexible installation options and built-in cable management, Lenovo aims to make setting up AI-powered meeting spaces more convenient.
