LG Electronics has developed new air conditioning systems that help businesses reduce energy use and maintenance costs while making sure that reliable cooling is available for different types of commercial spaces.
The LG Single Split Air Conditioning System uses one indoor and one outdoor unit, which offer flexible installation options for different room types. It supports several indoor unit designs, including wall-mounted, cassette, and floor-standing types, and allow businesses to choose what best fits their space.
Its Smart Inverter Compressor adjusts airflow automatically to maintain a comfortable indoor temperature while minimizing power use. The system also operates steadily during voltage fluctuations or harsh weather conditions.
Through the LG ThinQ app and kW Manager feature, users can remotely control temperature settings and monitor energy consumption, helping them manage energy costs more effectively.
For larger facilities such as office buildings, hotels, shopping centers, and hospitals, LG offers the Oil-Free Magnetic Bearing Centrifugal Chiller. This system eliminates the need for oil lubrication, reducing maintenance and enhancing reliability. Its low-noise impellers help maintain quiet operations in busy environments.
The chiller uses IGBT inverter technology to keep Total Demand Distortion (TDDi) below 5 percent, preventing overheating and improving overall system stability. It also runs on R-134a, a refrigerant with low global warming potential and zero ozone depletion impact.
A built-in uninterruptible power supply (UPS) supports the system for up to 20 minutes during power interruptions, protecting the motor and restoring operation within minutes.
To simplify management, LG provides a 15-inch touchscreen, wireless BECON Cloud Remote Control, and AI-based predictive maintenance tools. These features help facility managers monitor performance, anticipate maintenance needs, and maintain a consistent cooling environment.
