South Korea and Hong Kong are the first recipients of router brand Linksys and semiconductor firm Qualcomm’s partnership to provide uninterrupted mobile connectivity. The Linksys 5G Mobile Hotspot, launched recently in the two countries, is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X55 5G Modem-RF System and Qualcomm FastConnect 6800 mobile connectivity system.

Linksys, the connected home division within the Belkin International and Foxconn Interconnect Technology (FIT) entity, rolled out the first 5G and Wi-Fi 6 Mobile Hotspot in Korea with Korea Telecom (KT), the largest Korean mobile carrier. In Hong Kong,
the company is working with CSL to activate the mobile hotspot.
