PLDT Home and Madiskarte Moms PH (MMPH) are marking five years of supporting Filipina mompreneurs with the return of Gawad Madiskarte, an awards program that recognizes women who balance business, family, and community.

Launched during the pandemic, MMPH has grown into a network of more than 215,000 members. Over 25,000 of them have joined training programs designed to help women build and sustain businesses.

This year’s Gawad Madiskarte, now on its fourth edition, highlights mompreneurs who show leadership, creativity, and compassion. PLDT Home said the awards also aim to honor the personal sacrifices and determination of mothers who keep their families and businesses moving forward.

“You work wonders in three different worlds: the world of home, your own personal growth, and the world of business,” said Menardo “Butch” Jimenez, COO of PLDT. “At PLDT, we believe in the power of community, and our Madiskarte Moms exemplify this through their dedication and innovation.”

Awards will be given in two categories: Start-Up Mompreneurs, for businesses running at least six months, and Scale-Up Mompreneurs, for businesses operating at least 13 months and registered with the Department of Trade and Industry or the Bureau of Internal Revenue.

The three major awards are:

  • Diskarteng Angat, for growth and innovation
  • Diskarteng May Puso, for social good and community impact
  • Diskarteng Eco-Friendly, for sustainability and environmental stewardship

Special awards include Diskarteng Digital (for creative use of digital tools), Mompreneurs’ Choice Award (voted by the MMPH community), and Madiskarte Icon (for an inspiring leader).

Past awardees include women who grew small ventures into larger enterprises. Last year, Heidie Ricca del Rosario, founder of HTP Clothing, received the Diskarteng Angat – Scale-Up Division Award. She turned a preloved clothing business into a fashion brand that employs community seamstresses.

“Gawad Madiskarte allows us mompreneurs to be seen, heard, and celebrated. It fills our hearts to know the awards recognize that behind every successful business is a mom who made it happen,” Del Rosario said.

Applications for the 2025 awards are now open. Winners will receive cash prizes, capital support, and national recognition. Interested mompreneurs may apply through the Madiskarte Moms PH Facebook group or the official MMPH website.

The deadline for applications is November 15, 2025.
