Maya, a financial technology firm, has been named Best Consumer Digital Bank and Best Mobile Banking App in the Philippines at the World’s Best Digital Bank Awards for the third consecutive year.

The recognition highlights the strength of the Maya ecosystem, which combines Maya Bank’s digital infrastructure with the finance app experience of Maya Philippines. This setup allows millions of Filipinos to spend, save, borrow, and pay through an integrated platform.

“This win reinforces our strategy of building a digital ecosystem where people don’t just access finance, they use it with ease and confidence,” said Shailesh Baidwan, president of Maya Group and co-founder of Maya Bank.

Organized by Global Finance Magazine, the awards honored Maya for its fintech model that combines payments, deposits, and credit for both consumers and enterprises. The ecosystem is supported by AI-driven transaction insights and embedded credit features.

“By embedding savings nudges, instant credit, and secure features, we help customers move beyond access to meaningful financial progress,” said Angelo Madrid, president of Maya Bank.

Earlier this year, Maya was included in Forbes’ World’s Best Banks list. The company also won Best Virtual Bank at the Retail Banking Awards by Asian Banking & Finance for three consecutive years.
