2K has officially released NBA 2K25, the latest installment in the popular NBA video game simulation series, now available globally on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

The latest version features major gameplay enhancements powered by ProPLAY, introduces new competitive modes in MyTeam and The City, and includes updated role-playing experiences across MyCareer, MyNBA, The W, and more.

Key Features of NBA 2K25:

Gameplay with ProPLAY: This year’s edition boasts 9,000 new animations taken directly from real NBA footage, providing an authentic experience. The animations include dribbling, signature shots from 2023-2024 rostered players, and off-ball moves.

All-New Dribble Engine: NBA 2K25 introduces a new dribble engine, powered by ProPLAY™, that aims to create a more authentic feel by incorporating dynamic movements from actual NBA games.

The City: Responding to player feedback, The City returns with an updated, more connected design. The new competitive hub, Proving Grounds, and the return of MyCOURT and classic MyPARKS add to the immersive environment.

MyTeam: NBA 2K25 introduces Triple Threat Park along with three new game modes—Breakout, Showdown, and King of the Court—enhancing both single-player and multiplayer experiences. The Auction House has been updated to simplify the process of searching, buying, and selling items.

Heart of a Dynasty in MyCareer: This mode focuses on building a dynasty, where players compete against nine of the best teams in NBA history. It includes a flashback story called “Heart of a Dynasty,” allowing players to relive their journey to the NBA.

The W: NBA 2K25 includes opportunities to play against WNBA legends and current stars, including cover athlete A’ja Wilson. Players can work toward becoming the greatest of The W.

The Steph Era: MyNBA mode features “The Steph Era,” where players can experience or alter the legacy of the 2017 Golden State Warriors. The mode also introduces MyGM, allowing players to take on the role of a team’s General Manager.

Learn 2K: A new mode aimed at educating players on game mechanics, “Learn 2K” provides mini-games, drills, and practice scenarios to make the game more accessible.
