The local government of Cebu City partners with PLDT Enterprise to integrate Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Workspace (GWS) into their public service delivery system.
The adoption of GCP and GWS is hoped to increase productivity, streamline operations, and secure digital experiences for citizens. Cebu City is also gearing up to become a Smart City, to ensure prompt and reliable access to public services.
“By harnessing the power of Google Cloud Platform and Google Workspace, we aim to set a new standard for public service, one that is anchored on efficiency, resilience, and inclusivity,” said Kent De La Calzada, AVP and head of Customer Relationship Management at PLDT Enterprise.
Beyond local impact, the partnership between PLDT Enterprise and the City Government of Cebu advances global goals for digital inclusion and equal opportunities. By embracing GCP and GWS, Cebu City aims to drive progress toward the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
“Our partnership with PLDT Enterprise lays down the digital foundation that will propel Cebu City into a future with endless possibilities,” said Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama.
