PLDT Enterprise is reinforcing its partnership with the Information Technology and Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP) to help advance the country’s digital economy and expand the reach of the IT-BPM sector.

The collaboration supports IBPAP’s Roadmap 2028, which outlines plans to grow the industry beyond Metro Manila, integrate artificial intelligence (AI) and digital tools in service delivery, and promote inclusive workforce development.

“The collaboration aims to support the country’s vision of global leadership in high-value IT-BPM services through robust digital infrastructure, policy advocacy, and innovation,” said Jack Madrid, president and CEO of IBPAP. “The industry is always exploring ways to adapt, evolve, and innovate to keep pace with the changing times. And for the Philippines, we are making sure that we are not left behind and that we even stay ahead of the curve.”

PLDT Enterprise offers a range of digital solutions, including fixed and wireless connectivity, global subsea cable systems, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and data center services. These tools are designed to help companies implement hybrid work models, improve operations, and maintain global service standards.

“PLDT Enterprise is committed to enabling national industries through reliable and intelligent digital solutions,” said Albert Villa-Real, head of Enterprise Revenue Group at PLDT Enterprise. “Together, we aim to unlock new opportunities, build resilient ecosystems, and empower more Filipinos through technology.”

The company also supports IBPAP’s advocacy on key policy reforms, such as the CREATE MORE Act, digital skills development, and responsible hybrid work.

IBPAP said the industry is expanding into high-value segments like healthcare information management and multilingual services, supported by its Digital Cities 2025 program, which aims to create more tech-enabled jobs across the country.
