PLDT Enterprise revenue grew to P42.2 billion in 2021

Philippine fully integrated telco provider PLDT capped off 2021 with high revenues for its Enterprise business, that grew to P42.2 billion, which according to the company is its highest reported earnings to date.

Reporting the annual yearly increase from P31.3 billion since 2016, Enterprise’s 2021 full-year performance places it on track to a breakout this year. During the pandemic, PLDT Enterprise introduced digital solutions tailored for both large organizations and small businesses to help them navigate the challenging business landscape.

“We anticipate Enterprise revenues would grow on the back of the gradual reopening of businesses and opportunities to serve the needs of global hyperscalers with our expanded data centers,” said Alfredo Panlilio, president and CEO, PLDT and Smart.

Within PLDT’s data or broadband service revenues of P139.7B for 2021, revenues from its ICT services grew 14% to P4.8 billion, while revenues from Corporate data increased by 6% to P22 billion in 2021.

Data center expansion

PLDT’s data center expansion further builds on the future growth of its corporate data and ICT services, ensuring the delivery of services for businesses’ digital transformations, cybersecurity, and business continuity.

Rosa, our largest data center yet, further reinforces our commitment to being globally at par with international DC providers, while supporting the government’s efforts to establish the Philippines as the next premier destination for the global hyperscaler market.

To support the needs of Enterprise customers, PLDT has invested in strengthening its network backbone, expanding transport capacities for its domestic and international cable systems with a capacity of 66 TB and 19 TB, respectively, by the end of 2021.
