PLDT Global Corp. (PLDT Global) broadened the scope of its TINBO (Tindahan ni Bossing) platform, offering enhanced digital services including online shopping and food e-gift vouchers.
PLDT Global is the international retail arm of PLDT that provides communication infrastructure and innovative platforms to its global network of carriers.
TINBO, powered by PLDT Global, serves as a marketplace enabling Filipinos worldwide to purchase load, send e-gifts, healthcare PINs from mWell, gaming PINs, and even obtain a Smart virtual number (SVN). It offers a secure online bill payment platform for Philippine utilities and other digital services for those residing outside the Philippines.

“This is another way for us at PLDT Global and TINBO to engage with our Filipino communities overseas by providing them with more options to care for their loved ones back home,” said Albert Villa-Real, president and CEO at PLDT Global.
Overseas Filipinos can now buy Lazada and Shopee e-gift vouchers through TINBO, facilitating convenient gifting to families. This modern approach replaces traditional balikbayan boxes, saving time and expenses while enabling recipients to choose desired items from these shopping apps.
Partnerships
In 2023, PLDT Global expanded its collaboration with the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), enhancing services to empower global Filipinos throughout their journey. This included aiding their families from afar and upon their return home, working closely with the PLDT-Smart Foundation and the Asian Carriers Conference to support OFWs through grants for upskilling and business endeavors.

PLDT Global’s partnership with the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) extended support to OFWs by providing access to OWWA Hotline 1348 and TINBO’s digital services.
