PLDT Inc. is combining connectivity, wireless, cloud, cybersecurity, and other digital services as it seeks to become a broader technology partner for enterprises.

The company outlined its strategy at the inaugural ACC CXO Forum in Hong Kong, organized by PLDT Global. The event brought together industry leaders, technology decision-makers, and enterprise executives to discuss artificial intelligence (AI), infrastructure investment, procurement, and business resilience.

The approach shows the PLDT Group’s continuing shift from a traditional telecommunications provider to an integrated digital services partner. Instead of requiring companies to deal with separate teams for different technology needs, PLDT aims to provide a single point of contact.

“Customer is king. The way we engage customers has evolved significantly over the years,” said Leo Posadas, SVP and treasurer, PLDT, and CFO, PLDT Global. “Previously, customers managed separate relationships for connectivity, wireless, cloud, cybersecurity, and digital services. Today, we bring these together through a cohesive approach, creating one customer view and one integrated conversation.”

The model could make it easier for businesses to upgrade systems, adopt AI, protect their data, and manage operations across markets.

“Going beyond the signal means delivering a full suite of capabilities that help customers achieve their business objectives,” Posadas said. “Whether locally or globally, our focus remains on customer experience, customer choice, and customer success.”

PLDT also said procurement now plays a larger role in deciding where companies invest and which technology providers they select.

“Procurement is no longer just about achieving savings,” said Louella Calixtro, chief procurement officer, PLDT. “It is about shaping investment decisions, influencing where capital is deployed, and identifying partners that can help the organization create sustainable value.”

“The conversation has shifted from choosing the supplier with the lowest cost to identifying the partner that can support you throughout your business journey,” Calixtro said. “The real measure of a partnership is not the contract itself, but how that partner behaves when challenges emerge.”

PLDT said stronger partnerships can help companies limit disruptions, introduce new services faster, and get better returns from technology investments.
