Software provider Amdocs will facilitate the migration of select business-critical systems and applications to Amazon Web Services (AWS) for network provider PLDT and its wireless unit, Smart Communications Inc. (Smart).
This collaboration is part of PLDT and Smart’s cloud modernization program, aimed at enhancing business agility and delivering an improved connected customer experience.
Amdocs, known for its services in the communications and media sector, will offer comprehensive support in cloud strategy, planning consultancy, as well as cloud security and operations services. Leveraging its state-of-the-art artificial intelligence-driven cloud operations platform hosted on AWS, Amdocs will empower PLDT and Smart to optimize and scale their infrastructure performance and resources as per their requirements.

Beyond the benefits of AWS cloud technology, the agreement between Amdocs and PLDT will tap into AWS’ suite of cloud services to develop and manage applications for PLDT and Smart.
