POCO unveils POCO F8 Series with new flagship phones and tablets

Mobile device brand POCO introduced the F8 Ultra, F8 Pro, Pad X1, and Pad M1 at a global event in Bali, signaling the brand’s move into higher-end devices and an expanding ecosystem. The company also announced a partnership with audio brand Bose to improve audio quality on its new smartphones.

POCO F8 Ultra

POCO F8 Ultra is the top model in the new line. It runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and a secondary VisionBoost D8 chip that boosts gaming performance. The device includes Sound by Bose, a triple-speaker system, and a new HyperRGB display.

The device includes a 50MP main camera with a large sensor designed for low-light use, as well as a 5x periscope lens. The display uses new M10 material that improves efficiency while reducing power use. The phone supports eSIM and runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 3 with built-in AI tools for writing and multitasking.

POCO F8 Pro

POCO F8 Pro offers a similar user experience but in a lighter and smaller body. It features a milled glass design and a metal frame. It also includes a HyperRGB display and Sound by Bose.

The F8 Pro uses a triple-layer cooling system for stable performance. It also introduces a dedicated telephoto camera to the Pro line.

POCO Pad X1

The Pad X1 is aimed at users who want a tablet for gaming, streaming, and multitasking.

• Display: 11.2-inch 3.2K, up to 144Hz
• Memory: 8GB RAM, 512GB storage
• Battery: 8850mAh with 45W charging
• Audio: Quad speakers with Dolby Atmos

The tablet runs Xiaomi HyperOS, supporting AI tools and cross-device functions.

POCO Pad M1

The Pad M1 is designed for larger-screen entertainment.

• Display: 12.1-inch 2.5K, up to 120Hz
• Battery: 12,000mAh
• Audio: Quad speakers with Dolby Atmos

Both tablets include tools for productivity and content creation through Xiaomi HyperOS.

Availability in the Philippines

POCO F8 Ultra will be sold on Lazada in Denim Blue and Black. Prices are ₱34,999 for the 12GB+256GB model and ₱37,999 for the 16GB+512GB model until Dec. 9. Both come at lower introductory prices and include a free wireless charging stand for the base variant.

POCO F8 Pro will be available on Shopee in Titanium Silver, Blue, and Black. Prices are ₱26,299 for 12GB+256GB and ₱28,299 for 12GB+512GB until Dec. 9.

POCO Pad X1 will be available on Lazada for ₱19,999 for the 8GB+512GB variant, also until Dec. 9, with a free keyboard included.
