The Provincial Government of Bataan has partnered with Premier Apple partner Power Mac Center (PMC) to provide technology tools for its grade school and high school teachers. The initiative aims to enhance classroom learning by integrating digital tools into teaching methods.

At a recent turnover event led by Bataan Governor Jose Enrique Garcia III, more than 4,000 MacBook devices were distributed to elementary teachers, school heads, and schools with computer labs across the province. The effort is part of Bataan’s broader push for digital transformation in education.

“Power Mac Center is honored to extend our education solutions to the local government of Bataan and its dedicated teachers to empower them amid the increasingly tech-driven education setting,” said Joey Alvarez, PMC director for marketing and product management. “We hope to partner with more local governments and members of the academe in our mission to continuously help Filipino students be globally competitive.”

PMC, as a key education partner, is also providing ongoing technical support, training, and repair services to ensure teachers can maximize the use of their devices. Training covers the use of Mac for teaching and how digital tools can improve classroom engagement.

This is the second round of device distribution in Bataan. The first phase, completed in 2023, provided over 2,500 MacBooks to junior and senior high school teachers and Division supervisors.

PMC has been working with schools and local governments to introduce digital solutions in education. With over 120 retail stores across the country, the company offers customized Apple device solutions tailored to schools’ and educators’ needs.
