The Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP) will host a masterclass focused on artificial intelligence (AI) and ChatGPT for PR and communications professionals.
Co-organized with Global Alliance and the School of Communications and Reputation (SCoRe) in India, the workshop will take place on Sept. 28, 2024, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., at Ascott Makati’s Quirino-Garcia function room. The event offers both online and in-person participation options.
“This workshop reflects PRSP’s commitment to advancing the public relations profession,” said Ana Pista, chair of ProfDev 2024. “The masterclass supports PRSP’s theme of inclusivity and ethical practices, aligning with its ongoing KNow Movement, which addresses career development challenges within the PR sector.”
Titled “AI Masterclass in PR and Communications: A Certification Workshop on ChatGPT Strategic Integration,” the session aims to provide attendees with a deeper understanding of ChatGPT and other AI tools, exploring how these technologies can reshape public relations strategies. Key topics will include prompt engineering, media content creation through AI, and utilizing ChatGPT’s advanced features like plugins and extensions.
Hemant Gaule, co-founder and dean of SCoRe, will serve as the key speaker. He is recognized for his expertise in AI applications for communications, having trained over 2,000 professionals globally. Gaule will focus on the ethical implications of AI, as well as its practical uses in the field.
