Alibaba has launched the international edition of QwenWork, an all-in-one workplace artificial intelligence (AI) agent designed to complete tasks across websites, desktop applications, and office tools.
Now in public beta through the QwenWork website and desktop app, the platform targets individuals and businesses in fast-growing markets across Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America. It is available in English and simplified Chinese, with more languages planned, including Traditional Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, and Korean.
The launch brings Alibaba into closer competition with global workplace AI platforms looking to automate research, content creation, software development, and routine office tasks.
QwenWork combines the main features of Alibaba’s QoderWork, MuleRun, and Wukong agent platforms. Users can describe a task in everyday language and authorize the AI agent to browse websites, operate a local computer, and carry out several steps on their behalf.
The platform can generate office documents, conduct in-depth research, understand uploaded files, accept voice commands, schedule online tasks, automate browser activity, and work with approved local files.
QwenWork also allows users without coding experience to build and publish websites. Alibaba said the platform can create a website, provide hosting and database services, and connect it to a custom domain within one workflow. It can also generate images, videos, and audio.
Its desktop app includes an optional feature called Awareness, which remembers a user’s preferences, working style, and previous context across sessions. This reduces the need to repeat instructions each time. Users can turn off the feature whenever they want.
Completed workflows can also be saved as reusable skills, allowing people and businesses to repeat common tasks more quickly.
QwenWork International uses a subscription and credit-based pricing model, with separate plans for individual and enterprise customers. Users can select Standard or Advanced models based on the difficulty of their tasks.
Standard mode includes Alibaba’s Qwen3.8 Flash model, which the company claims uses 75% fewer tokens per task and generates responses about twice as fast as the previous mode.
The platform supports registration through Google accounts or email. Alibaba plans to connect QwenWork with widely used business tools through its connector framework.
QwenWork was initially released in China in early August. Alibaba said it will expand the platform’s international integrations and add features for more workplace uses.
