realme Philippines has emerged as the second-leading smartphone brand in the country, according to the market intelligence firm International Data Corp.’s (IDC) sell-in report for the third quarter of 2024.
With a 17% market share, realme posted a 10% year-on-year growth, driven by the launch of key models like the realme GT 6, the realme 13 Series 5G, and the realme Note 50.
“We are incredibly grateful for the constant support that the Squad has shown us. They are one of the driving forces behind this achievement,” said Jane Yan, VP for Marketing of realme Philippines. “In return, we reaffirm the Squad with our commitment to introduce more quality smartphones that incorporate cutting-edge features.”
The IDC report highlights how realme has gained ground by offering smartphones that appeal to a wide range of price points and consumer preferences. By balancing affordability and advanced technology, realme has carved out a position as a reliable choice for Filipino users.
Each of the models released in Q3 2024 showcased features that resonated with different segments of the market, contributing to their recognition as popular options. The company credits its sustained growth to its focus on understanding consumer needs and delivering products tailored to meet them.
