Rimini Street, the Software Support and Agentic AI ERP Company and a third-party support provider for Oracle, SAP and VMware software, has launched Rimini Govern for AI, a managed service for overseeing AI agents used by businesses.
The service provides a central system for tracking AI agent activity, workflows, security events, compliance, performance, operating costs, and return on investment. Rimini Street’s AI engineers monitor the system through the company’s Global Command Centers.
Rimini Govern for AI is intended to address “shadow AI,” which refers to AI tools used without a company’s knowledge or approval. It also targets fragmented monitoring systems and inconsistent rules across business units.
Companies can use the service to limit AI agents to authorized tasks and approved workflows. It records agent activity for audits and applies security and compliance controls.
The service also includes root-cause analysis and technical support for AI agent failures or unexpected behavior.
Rimini Street said deployment can be completed within weeks. The process begins with an assessment of the customer’s AI plans, existing systems, and governance requirements.
The company then identifies AI agents operating across selected software, platforms, and systems. It configures access controls and evaluates the agents’ operational, financial, and compliance effects.
After deployment, Rimini Street engineers monitor agent activity, security alerts, system integrations, costs, and performance around the clock.
Rimini Govern for AI is part of the company’s Rimini Govern portfolio of governance, risk, and compliance services. It can also be used with Rimini Agentworks, a service for developing and deploying AI agents, and Rimini Agentic UX, an AI-based interface layer for existing enterprise resource planning systems.
