Samsung Electronics has introduced the Galaxy S25 Edge, a new slim smartphone that joins the Galaxy S series, with sales expected to begin soon. The device stands out with its ultra-thin 5.8mm titanium frame, built to deliver a premium mobile experience packed with AI features and a high-end camera system.
Samsung designed the Galaxy S25 Edge for users looking for a light and portable device without giving up performance or creativity tools. With a weight of just 163 grams, the smartphone is made of titanium and Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2, offering both style and everyday durability.
The highlight of the device is its AI-enabled camera system. It includes a 200MP wide camera that enhances low-light shots and a 12MP ultra-wide lens with autofocus, allowing users to capture sharper photos and detailed close-ups. The camera uses the Galaxy ProVisual Engine, which was also used in the standard Galaxy S25, to sharpen image details and improve skin tones in portraits. Galaxy AI tools like Audio Eraser and Drawing Assist support content creation directly from the device.
Chip to power AI
Inside, the Galaxy S25 Edge runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform for Galaxy, which is also used in other S25 models. This chip helps power AI functions on the device and supports smooth multitasking. Samsung has redesigned the cooling system with a thinner vapor chamber that spreads heat more evenly.
For visuals, the phone uses ProScaler and Samsung’s custom mDNIe engine to enhance display image quality by 40 percent. Galaxy AI is present throughout the phone’s features, including smart assistants that adjust based on user habits and offer tips during daily tasks like commuting or dining out.

Samsung also partnered with Google to integrate the Gemini Live AI tool. With new camera and screen-sharing functions, users can interact with Gemini in real time, getting help by simply showing what they see.
Smart design
Samsung said the Galaxy S25 Edge expresses its focus on combining smart design, performance, and privacy. AI processing happens on the device and is protected by Samsung Knox Vault, keeping user data secure.
The Galaxy S25 Edge will come in Titanium Silver, Titanium Jetblack, and Titanium Icyblue.
