Samsung introduced its latest Smart, ViewFinity, and Odyssey monitors equipped with Vision AI during the “Redefine Vision AI: Samsung One Monitor Launch” in partnership with PC Express on Aug. 12 at Cyberzone, SM Makati.

PC Express, a major computer and technology retailer in the Philippines, served as Samsung’s official partner for the launch. The company carries a wide range of gaming equipment and Samsung monitors designed for different types of users.

At the event, Samsung highlighted new features across its display line, including the Smart Monitor M9 powered by Vision AI, the ViewFinity S8 for enhanced color accuracy, and the Odyssey OLED series designed for immersive gaming. Each monitor was presented with distinct features aimed at entertainment, productivity, and gaming.

The Smart Monitor M9 introduces AI-powered functions to improve both picture and sound quality. Its 4K AI Upscaling Pro feature enhances lower-resolution content, bringing images closer to 4K clarity. It also becomes the first Samsung monitor to use OLED panels, providing deep blacks and improved color contrast. With Glare-Free technology, visuals remain sharp even in bright environments. For gamers, the M9 supports a 165Hz refresh rate and can adjust picture settings depending on the game genre.

The ViewFinity S8 is a 37-inch monitor with a 16:9 4K display. Built for professionals in design and content creation, it features 99% sRGB color accuracy for precise visuals. Its large screen is intended to help users manage multiple tasks, while its ergonomic design allows for comfortable, extended use. The size and resolution make it suitable for handling complex projects that require detailed visuals.

Samsung’s Odyssey series expands its offerings with models that highlight immersive gaming experiences. The Odyssey 3D, with its 27-inch display, uses eye-tracking technology and a lenticular lens to deliver 3D images without the need for special glasses. It also has a 3D AI Video Conversion feature that adds depth to standard videos.

The Odyssey OLED G8, a 32-inch model, integrates QD-QLED technology for sharper and brighter images at 4K resolution. With 166 pixels per inch, a refresh rate of 240Hz, and a response time of 0.03 milliseconds, it is designed to keep up with fast-paced gaming. The monitor also uses VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 400 for deeper blacks and Glare-Free technology for distraction-free viewing in different lighting conditions.

Beyond visuals and performance, Samsung has added protective features to extend the monitors’ lifespan. Its OLED Safeguard+ system uses Dynamic Cooling and thermal modulation to prevent overheating and minimize burn-in issues, ensuring consistent performance for longer use.

Samsung said the new monitors are developed to provide flexibility for users whether for work, play, or entertainment. By integrating AI and OLED technology across its monitor lineup, the company aims to offer tools that support productivity, creativity, and gaming.
