Samsung Electronics unveiled its updated AI Home concept at the “Welcome to Bespoke AI” global event held in Seoul, Korea. The event showcased the company’s 2025 appliance lineup, which features new smart screens, security upgrades, and improved software for a more connected and secure home experience.

“We’re bringing AI into homes to help users manage their daily routines more easily while saving energy and time,” said Jeong Seung Moon, executive vice president and head of the R&D team for Samsung’s Digital Appliances Business. “Our goal is to make these benefits available in more households.”

One of the highlights of the event was the 9-inch AI Home display now built into more products, including the new Bespoke AI Refrigerators. This screen allows users to control connected devices, view personal schedules, and monitor smart home functions using Samsung’s SmartThings app. It can even connect third-party devices without needing a separate hub.

Using post-quantum cryptography

Samsung also focused on making its smart appliances more secure. New devices will include Knox Vault, which stores sensitive information like passwords in a separate hardware chip. The company is also using post-quantum cryptography to protect against future threats and Trust Chain to monitor security in real time.

Another feature, Smart Forward, helps users get the latest software updates without replacing their current appliances.

“With Smart Forward, users can enjoy the newest features through simple updates,” said Jeong. “It’s our way of making innovation accessible.”

By adding stronger protection, easy-to-use controls, and continued software support, Samsung aims to give users a smart home experience that works well and feels safe.
