The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has revoked the registration of Lucky South 99 Corp. for operating a Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (POGO) facility in Pampanga without the required license.

The SEC’s Enforcement and Investor Protection Department (EIPD) issued the order on July 30, 2024, citing violations of the Revised Corporation Code of the Philippines.

Initially registered in 2019 as Lucky South 99 Outsourcing Inc., the company was meant to focus on business process outsourcing (BPO) and real estate. However, in February 2024, the firm changed its name and its business focus to gaming and entertainment. Despite these changes, the company failed to secure the necessary licenses to run its gaming operations.

The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (Pagcor) had already listed the company as an Offshore Gaming Licensee in 2023. The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) had previously raided Lucky South 99’s Pampanga office in 2022 for illegal operations and alleged involvement in human trafficking. The DILG eventually shut down the facility.
