E-commerce platform Shopee has reactivated its Shopee Bayanihan program to support communities affected by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and recent typhoons, including Crising, Dante, and Emong. The initiative, launched in partnership with humanitarian organizations, aims to provide immediate relief to displaced families.

Until Aug. 5, Shopee users can donate by purchasing e-vouchers from ABS-CBN Foundation, GMA Kapuso Foundation, and Unicef through the Shopee app. All proceeds will go to ongoing relief operations and essential supplies for affected communities.

“In times like these, it’s essential that help reaches affected communities as quickly as possible,” said Vincent Lee, head of Shopee Philippines. “Through Shopee Bayanihan, we’re working with trusted partners to provide immediate relief efforts and offer people a simple way to extend help where it’s most needed.”

To donate, users can follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Shopee Bayanihan microsite via https://shopee.ph/m/shopee-bayanihan or search “Shopee Bayanihan” in the app.
  2. Choose a donation e-voucher from your preferred charity.
  3. Tap “Buy Now” to complete your donation.

Shopee said the program is part of its commitment to helping communities recover from natural disasters by making donations more accessible.
