Shopee Philippines is stepping up to support Department of Trade and Industry’s (DTI) vision of strengthening Philippines’ e-commerce ecosystem, through strategic investments in human capital. The e-commerce platform has introduced the Future Operations Leader Program (FLP), a comprehensive initiative designed to cultivate the next generation of leaders in e-commerce operations.

“The Future Operations Leader Program aims to nurture aspiring operations innovators, effective communicators, solution-centered thinkers, and resilient future leaders through hands-on training and extensive exposure to e-commerce logistics and fulfillment,” said Karen Perez, head of HR Center for Excellence at Shopee Philippines.

The two-year FLP targets recent graduates and young professionals with up to three years of work experience. Participants will be deeply immersed in the e-commerce operations lifecycle, taking on significant project responsibilities and targets across various operational settings including warehouses, sorting centers, and hubs nationwide. Each FLP associate will be paired with a manager, a buddy, and a mentor to provide comprehensive guidance and support throughout their journey at Shopee.

Applicants for the FLP will undergo a four-step selection process that includes an online assessment and multiple interviews. A key requirement for candidates is the ability to relocate and work in various locations across the Philippines.

To provide more information about the program, Shopee is organizing an FLP Open House Webinar on June 19, 2024, at 6 p.m. PST. This webinar will feature invited speakers who will discuss career opportunities and share valuable career insights with potential applicants.
