Signify, formerly Philips Lighting, presented new technologies that aim to make lighting more energy-efficient, environmentally responsible, and supportive of human well-being. The event also highlighted the importance of working closely with specifiers, designers and engineers who help turn concepts into real-world applications.

“At the heart of everything we do is a deep commitment to sustainable innovation,” said Raghuraman Chandrasekhar, country leader for Professional Business, Signify Philippines. “We design solutions that not only light spaces beautifully but also respect our planet. And when we talk about the future, there’s no ignoring the power of connected lighting and ultra-efficiency, transforming how we manage energy, environments, and experiences. This is a journey we take together with our specifiers. They are not just partners; they are co-creators of the future.”

Among the key solutions featured were energy-saving LEDs, connected systems for smart buildings and outdoor areas, and lighting made from recyclable materials. One solution, NatureConnect, uses lighting that mimics natural daylight to support sleep and productivity indoors. Another focus was solar-powered lighting for communities without access to electricity.

“Everything we achieve, every solution, every milestone, is the result of close collaboration with specifiers,” Chandrasekhar added. “Their insight drives us to innovate better, design smarter, and push the boundaries of what lighting can do.”

The event aimed to spark ideas and conversations about the role of lighting in building sustainable spaces. Signify emphasized that innovation must be practical, inclusive, and designed with people and the planet in mind.
