Signify, a global company specializing in lighting, has introduced the Philips UltraEfficient Professional Range in the Philippines. This energy-saving lighting solution promises up to 50% lower energy use compared to standard LEDs, helping businesses reduce electricity bills and carbon emissions.
The lights last up to 100,000 hours — three times longer than traditional LEDs — minimizing the need for replacements and reducing waste.
“With rising energy costs and increasing awareness of climate change, the government and the industry players in the Philippines are adopting sustainable practices,” said Raghuraman Chandrasekhar, country leader of Professional Business, Signify Philippines. “The Philips UltraEfficient range addresses these needs by offering an energy-saving solution that is both practical and impactful.”
The range includes products like RoadFlair Pro UltraEfficient Street Lights, GreenSpace G6 Downlights, and UltraEfficient LED Flood Lights. These options are designed for various settings, including outdoor spaces, factories, and offices.
This launch aligns with Signify’s Green Switch initiative, which supports the Philippines’ Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act. The act encourages businesses to prioritize energy conservation as a key goal.
“Our UltraEfficient range is more than a lighting solution — it is an investment in sustainable growth,” Chandrasekhar said. “It provides businesses with the tools they need to drive environmental stewardship while ensuring economic benefits.”
Signify’s Interact lighting system complements the range, allowing users to monitor and control their lighting remotely. This smart system helps businesses achieve further energy savings while improving operations.
