Technology company Cisco introduced its new Wi-Fi 7 access points, designed to provide intelligent, secure, and seamless connectivity for businesses. These innovations aim to enhance employee and customer experiences while simplifying network management through a unified subscription license.
“With Cisco Wi-Fi 7 access points and Cisco Spaces, we are delivering the connectivity, assurance, and data that IT, real estate, and facilities teams need to reimagine employee and customer experiences everywhere,” Jeetu Patel, chief product officer at Cisco, said in a media release.
The Wi-Fi 7 solution integrates advanced features, including AI-driven optimizations and auto-configuration, to simplify deployment and improve network performance. The system’s flexibility allows businesses to manage networks either on-premises or through the cloud, switching seamlessly between the two.
Security remains a key focus, with features such as AI-native device profiling, threat prevention, and advanced encryption ensuring robust protection for all connections. The solution also incorporates Cisco ThousandEyes, which uses AI and automation to detect and resolve performance issues across networks, delivering consistent digital experiences.

The subscription-based approach simplifies how businesses invest in wireless technology, offering access to the Cisco Spaces platform. This enables organizations to transform workplaces into smart spaces that adapt to modern needs.
The Wi-Fi 7 access points will be available to order in November 2024 and are expected to ship by December.
