Xiaomi has launched the REDMI Watch 6 Active in the Philippines, expanding its smartwatch lineup with a budget-friendly wearable that combines fitness tracking, Bluetooth calling, and long battery life for ₱2,599.

The REDMI Watch 6 Active features a 1.85-inch AMOLED display with a 390 x 450 resolution and up to 1,200 nits of peak brightness, making the screen easier to read outdoors. It also supports an Always-On Display, allowing users to check the time and notifications without waking the screen.

The smartwatch has a slim 9.9 mm flat-edge design with a quick-release strap that enables users to easily swap bands. The lightweight design is intended for all-day wear.

For health monitoring, the device includes 24/7 heart rate tracking, blood oxygen (SpO2) monitoring, all-day stress tracking, and guided breathing exercises. It also carries an IP68 rating for resistance against dust, sweat, rain, and water splashes.

The REDMI Watch 6 Active supports Bluetooth 5.3 calling, allowing users to answer phone calls directly from the watch when paired with a smartphone. Xiaomi said this feature is designed for people who want to stay connected while commuting, exercising, or multitasking.

Battery life is one of the watch’s main selling points. Its 470 mAh battery can last up to 18 days under light use or up to 12 days with typical daily use, reducing the need for frequent charging.

The REDMI Watch 6 Active is now available through Xiaomi’s online store and Shopee as part of an early-bird promotion running until Aug. 30. It will be available across all official online channels starting Aug. 31, while sales at Xiaomi Authorized Retail Stores nationwide begin Sept. 15.
