Smart Communications Inc. has launched the Junior Plan, a postpaid option designed to keep parents and children connected while ensuring a safer online experience.

Available as a supplementary line for Smart Postpaid subscribers on Plan 999 and above, the Junior Plan includes 10 GB of open-access data, unlimited calls and texts to all networks, and unrestricted access to select kid-friendly apps for P499 per month. These apps include Khan Academy for learning, YouTube Kids and Spotify for entertainment, Messenger Kids and Viber for messaging, and Mobile Legends for gaming.

“We understand the importance of staying connected with your family and the challenges many parents face in managing their children’s mobile usage and keeping them safe online,” said Lloyd Manaloto, FVP at Smart.

The Junior Plan also features Smart’s Child Protection Platform, which blocks access to illegal sites and inappropriate content. Parents can manage their children’s mobile usage while ensuring they can browse the internet safely for schoolwork and personal interests.

Smart Postpaid subscribers with Plan 999 and up can sign up for a Junior Plan at Smart Stores nationwide. Eligible users can manage both primary and supplementary plans under one bill and track usage through the Smart App.

The Junior Plan runs on Smart’s mobile network, which enables fast uploads and downloads, seamless streaming, and smooth gaming.
