Smart Communications Inc. and TNT joined Telepreneur Corp. (TPC), a reseller network, in launching its 2026 kick-off event, marking nearly 14 years of collaboration helping Filipinos earn income through mobile loading services.

The partnership, supported through key account partner Hatchiko, has focused on creating livelihood opportunities by allowing individuals to sell prepaid load within their communities. The model turned mobile load into a service that could be offered almost anywhere, instead of being limited to a few retail outlets.

“Our partnership with Smart and TNT through Hatchiko has been with us since day one,” said Mariel Astudillo, president of TPC. “They have supported us through ups and downs, helping us overcome challenges to become a foundation of this industry.”

TPC held the event as it entered its 14th year of operations. The company said the collaboration has helped expand digital access and income opportunities for members of its nationwide network.

“TPC thrives on person-to-person selling,” said Christian So, AVP and head of National Key Accounts for Smart. “There is a level of customer education and service there, helping a customer pick the right product for their budget, that cannot be done by self-service e-wallets. It’s important that Smart is there for all walks of life, whether they are digitally savvy or crave that human connection.”

According to TPC, the network has produced more than 1,200 self-made millionaires among its members.

Even as digital wallets gain traction, the partners said personal interaction remains important in reaching customers who prefer face-to-face transactions.

The 2026 kick-off also introduced the Sumakses Loyalty Promo, which offers incentives to members as they grow their reseller communities. Prizes included a motorcycle, a laptop, and 14 smartphones to mark the partnership’s 14th year.
