Banking on the size of small and medium enterprises (SME) in the Philippines, software firm GoTo brings its latest products to Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines. Adopting a channel-first approach, GoTo taps VST-ECS as a products and services distributor in the Philippines.
GoTo is looking into making its solutions available for organizations adopting hybrid work. It also said that its unified and simplified portfolio is well-aligned with the way businesses, particularly SMEs, evaluate options to modernize their communications, collaboration, and IT solutions, preferencing integrated, easy-to-use and manage solutions that are fast to implement, with reliable uptime and backed by the support of in-region experts.
“At GoTo, we understand the unique challenges faced by SMEs and are dedicated to focusing our resources to address these pain points,” said Lindsay Brown, VP and GM, GoTo Asia Pacific. “We want to bring this set of knowledge to better serve Southeast Asia together with our ecosystem of partners, and best-in-class collaboration and support products.”
GoTo’s flexible-work software, including GoTo Connect, GoTo Resolve, Rescue, Central, and more, is built for IT departments of small- and midsize business IT departments.
GoTo announced the release of a new IT management and support (ITSM) product, GoTo Resolve. GoTo Resolve modernizes IT support by bringing together all the tools small and midsize businesses (SMBs) need to manage and support employees in a flexible, secure, and conversational way. The launch of GoTo Resolve coupled with continued evolution and enhancements to GoTo unified communications and collaboration (UCC) solutions with products like GoTo Webinar, GoTo Meeting, and more, allow SME IT teams to seamlessly manage their systems and communicate with their employees to get the right information and fix issues quicker through a single provider and application. GoTo’s unified administration center brings together these products, giving IT leaders a single app from which they can manage their users, entitlements, and configurations.
In terms of security, GoTo said it applies a Zero Trust architecture which protects endpoints from cyber threats and supply chain vulnerabilities. The Zero Trust is a “never trust, always verify” strategy, which is usually adopted by large enterprises.
GoTo Resolve is a premium service that can be deployed in minutes, not days. With a zero-cost option, GoTo is making zero trust security attainable for businesses of any size, enabling users to have access to basic functionalities.
Acknowledging limitations in network connectivity, GoTo is built to consume lower bandwidth compared to other business solutions software.
“GoTo is bandwidth-friendly,” said Jimmy Go, president and CEO, VST-ECS Philippines Inc. “GoTo’s solutions offer great security and it’s easy to use. I think those are our features that everybody really wants.”
He also noted that some small businesses may not have a dedicated IT department and GoTo’s products are easy to install and use so they can easily transform their companies digitally.
GoTo has more than 3,000 global employees and over $1 billion in annual revenue. The remote-centric company’s physical headquarters is in Boston, Massachusetts, with additional offices and thousands of home offices in North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Australia, and beyond.
