Network-attached storage and data management provider Synology presented its latest enterprise storage and AI-driven productivity solutions during Synology Solution Day 2025 in Manila.
The company introduced the PAS series, which features active-active dual controllers and end-to-end NVMe technology designed for high performance and reliability. It also previewed new functions in DSM 7.3, including Synology Tiering, which automatically stores frequently accessed data on faster drives while moving rarely used files to cost-efficient tiers.
“This year, companies are expanding investments in AI and automation while continuing to view data protection and recovery as top priorities,” said Claire Huang, country manager for the Philippines at Synology.
To address these needs, the company launched the PAS7700, an NVMe SSD dual-controller storage solution that strengthens data protection and reduces the risk of downtime. The company also enhanced its security offerings through new versions of its backup and protection platforms.
The updated ActiveProtect suite, which includes the DP7200 appliance and APM 1.1 software, introduces features such as WORM (Write Once, Read Many) to prevent data deletion and network isolation for secure access. These upgrades support a 3-2-1-1-0 backup strategy, enabling businesses to maintain offsite and immutable backups for improved data resilience.

The company also showed its video surveillance solutions that integrate cameras, storage, and management software. It showcased AI-powered analytics for people, vehicle, and intrusion detection, alongside new cameras that work seamlessly within the Synology ecosystem.
To support digital transformation and collaboration, Synology introduced an integrated platform for messaging and video conferencing, as well as AI-assisted document management through the Synology AI Console. The system allows enterprises to streamline operations using on-premises AI servers and customizable AI agents to improve workflow efficiency.
