Tala Philippines has added Grow with Tala, an in-app feature that allows customers to track their credit progress and see potential future credit limit increases as they build their borrowing history.
The global financial technology company said the feature was developed to address uncertainty among borrowers, especially those managing rising living costs and multiple financial commitments. Tala Philippines’ Financial Health Score (FHS) Survey showed the need for tools that make financial progress more visible and easier to understand.
“We understand that uncertainty is a big source of stress for our borrowers, especially those juggling multiple financial commitments. We designed this tool to bring clarity and purpose to financial management, giving our customers a clear path to actively shape the future they’ve always envisioned with Tala,” said Moritz Gastl, general manager, Tala Philippines.
Grow with Tala gives customers a view of their guaranteed limit increase before their current loan is due, helping them plan their finances ahead. Customers only need to repay their loans on time to receive the new limit.
The feature is accessible through the “growth tree” icon on the Tala app’s main screen. It shows a customer’s journey with Tala, including their credit limit summary, current status, upcoming analysis dates, and milestones they can unlock.
Beyond tracking progress, Tala said the tool is designed to encourage responsible borrowing by providing updates on payment status and credit limit eligibility. It also brings together existing benefits, including referral rewards and possible bonuses, in one section of the app.
The move supports Tala’s Kasangga sa Laban ng Buhay campaign, which focuses on helping Filipinos manage financial challenges and work toward long-term goals.
