TCL, an appliance brand, reported steady growth across its product categories in 2025 and outlined plans to expand its appliance, television, and air conditioning businesses in the Philippines through 2026.
The company said its performance last year was supported by repeat customers and wider adoption of its products across homes and businesses. TCL attributed this to consistent product updates and after-sales support, rather than one-time sales gains.
“2025 has been a rewarding and successful year for TCL,” said Peter Chen, CEO of TCL Philippines. “We are now strategically focused and look forward to building on this momentum with more milestones in the coming year.”
As part of its 2026 roadmap, TCL plans a full refresh of its Whitelines category, starting with a new design and model lineup for TCL refrigerators. The company said the update is intended to address changing household needs and energy use, rather than introduce cosmetic changes alone.
In the television segment, TCL said consumer demand continues to shift toward higher-end models such as QLED and Mini LED. The company noted that buyers are looking for better picture quality as streaming, gaming, and larger screens become more common in Filipino homes.
“The shift in consumer demand toward premium TV categories such as QLED and Mini LED is driven by technological advancements, lifestyle changes, and greater market accessibility,” said Charlie Huang, deputy product director of Brownline at TCL. “It indicates that consumers are no longer satisfied with standard LED performance and are actively seeking a better viewing experience.”
TCL said its long-term TV strategy focuses on making large-screen and advanced display technology more affordable for a wider market. The company continues to center its development on QD-Mini LED technology.
“This commitment is underpinned by the continuous establishment of QD-Mini LED as the core technology, ensuring high brightness, strong contrast, and accurate colors for streaming and gaming,” Huang said.
Beyond home appliances and TVs, TCL Philippines is expanding from residential air conditioning into the commercial HVAC market. The company plans to offer systems for offices, developments, and large projects, supported by a dedicated technical and project team.
“As we expand our market coverage from residential to commercial applications, we highlight our TMV6 VRF System and our residential hero products with T-AI technology for efficient and cost-effective requirements,” said Bert Cheung, deputy director of Air Solution and B2B Business of TCL Philippines.
“Our strengthened portfolio gives confidence to the partnerships we are building with developers, organizations, and consultants.”
Cheung said the company is shifting from a distribution-focused approach to a project-based HVAC business to handle larger installations.
“We will continuously build a team of professionals to grow the commercial side of our business so we can be at par with current market leaders,” he said.
In home appliances, TCL is also pushing its washing machine lineup, led by the Super Drum C682 model. The company said the product reflects its move toward smarter and more efficient home solutions.
“Our washing machine business in the Philippines is projecting around 30% revenue growth in 2025,” said Eric Li, senior product manager of TCL.
“We are committed to this market and will continue to improve both our products and customer service.”
TCL said it is also investing in customer support, with plans to improve service speed, access, and warranty programs by 2026.
“A better customer journey from purchase through years of use is key to long-term loyalty,” Li said.
