TCL remained the No. 1 panel TV brand in the Philippines in 2025, extending its market lead to three consecutive years, according to the 2025 Annual Cumulative Market Share Report by TRS Research.

The ranking is based on sales from brick-and-mortar retail stores nationwide, placing TCL ahead in one of the country’s most competitive consumer electronics categories.

The result gives TCL a strong position in the Philippine TV market as consumers continue to look for larger screens, better picture quality, and more advanced features at different price points.

TCL’s performance in the Philippines also comes as the company strengthens its position globally. According to Omdia, TCL ranked No. 1 worldwide in shipments of 75-inch-and-above TVs and Mini LED TVs in 2025. It also remained the global leader in Google TV shipments for five consecutive years, from 2021 to 2025.

“This achievement inspires us to keep pushing the boundaries of innovation while making premium technologies more accessible to every Filipino household. We remain committed to delivering products that combine world-class performance, outstanding quality, and exceptional value,” said Peter Chen, CEO of TCL Philippines

TCL is also expanding its premium TV technology with Super-QD Mini LED (SQD-Mini LED), which improves how TVs control brightness and display colors.

The technology is designed to produce brighter images, deeper contrast, and richer colors by giving the TV more precise control over its backlighting. TCL said the technology is aimed at creating a more realistic viewing experience.

The company is positioning SQD-Mini LED as its next generation of premium display technology. Its TCL X11L, described as the world’s first SQD-Mini LED flagship television, received the Innovative Display Technology Gold Award at the Global Top Brands (GTB) Awards during CES 2026 in Las Vegas.

The awards program was organized by International Data Group (IDG) and supported by the International Data Corp.

For TCL, the Philippine market win adds to its broader push to make higher-end TV technology more accessible to consumers while strengthening its position in the global display market.
