Techno Holdings opens first wellness hub at Shangri-La Plaza

Phiten Retail, a Japanese health and body care brand is now open at Shangri-la Plaza Mall (1)

Techno Holdings Corp. (THC), holding company made up of service‑oriented businesses across multiple sectors, has opened its first THC Health & Beauty Hub (THBH) at Shangri-La Plaza Mall. The 455-square-meter space brings together multiple Japanese wellness and beauty brands under one roof.

The hub currently features Phiten Retail, a Japanese health and body care brand known for products that use patented Aqua Metal/Nano technology, and Nora Lab, a training center for aspiring Nora Salon stylists.

Later this month, Miss Esthe Facial Salon and Skin Care will open, offering non-invasive facial treatments with Japanese equipment and techniques. Nora Hair Salon, led by Creative Director Hidekazu Ando, will also open soon, bringing Japanese hair styling expertise to the hub.

Early next year, the hub will host Phiten IP Salon, the first location outside Japan. It will offer recovery and wellness services using technology such as a hyperbaric oxygen chamber, Healthy Light Bathing Capsule, Aqua Titan Bathing Egg, and water wave massage beds.

THC is expanding its wellness and beauty brands across Metro Manila. Phiten now operates kiosks in Lucky Chinatown Mall and Mitsukoshi Mall, offering products such as bracelets, supports, braces, necklaces, tapes, and apparel. Visitors can also see product demonstrations and learn about the brand’s patented AQUA METAL technology.

Other Japanese beauty brands under THC are also growing their presence. Karada and Miss Esthe Facial Salon are operating at Alabang Westgate, with Nora Hair Salon scheduled to open there soon. Miss Esthe treatments are also available at Newport Mall in Pasay City and The Assembly Grounds, The Rise, in Makati.

Express Relief, THC’s subsidiary offering massage services in public spaces, has expanded to Vertis North and Lucky Chinatown Mall, in addition to its location at PITX.

THBH aims to provide a combination of retail, treatment services, and wellness technology, making Japanese wellness and beauty services more accessible across Metro Manila.
